Corie Loiselle-Hess, M.S.
Individuals, couples, and families are constantly growing and changing. Through providing counseling services I aim to support people as they navigate life's many transitions and challenges including: relationship difficulties, divorce, parent-child relational problems, grief, depression, anxiety or trauma (survivors of sexual assault/interpersonal violence).
My approach to counseling centers around discovering client strengths and working collaboratively to discover strategies for generating positive change, personal growth and empowerment. I view clients from a systemic perspective and provide holistic care paying careful attention to the mind, body and spirit connection.
I utilize a number of creative interventions in my work with clients including art & drama, especially with children and teens. I work with clients of all ages: children/ teens, adults, couples, and families.
I completed my Masters degree in counseling from California State University Northridge with a specialization in marriage and family therapy. I also hold a credential in school counseling and am a certified rape crisis advocate.
My particular areas of interest include:
Parent-Child relational problems
Trauma (survivors of sexual assault/interpersonal violence)
